Equation #4

6 comments:

  1. Joonyon just found a rare cobra during his trip to a rain forest. He carefully took the cobra home, and planned to build a toy fence for the cobra. Joonyon knows that the fence has to be a square, because cobras always prefer square fences. He realizes that he doesn't have a ruler in his house, and plans to use a 6 meter wooden stick and a long piece of string. He first wraps around the string around the square outline, and cuts the string off exactly surrounding the perimeter of the outline. Now he puts the cut string next to the 6 meter stick. He realizes that the string is shorter than the stick between the two lengths, and dividing the difference by half would match the length of one side of the fence's outline. What's the length of one side of the square fence?

The question is interesting and the question doesn’t have any grammatical errors. But we don’t get what the question means and it has too much extra information. To improve this question, I think you could make the question with less words! Overall, it was a good question. (:

In this word problem, there are several information that are useless which makes the reader confuse. Also, since the word problem question is too long, we didn't understand the question very well. If the two things were changed, it would be a great word problem to solve.

We thought the question was very interesting however, we had a hard time understanding Some parts because of useless information. We thought that the word problem was too long and a long word problem will make us bored and to lose concentration.Other than that we think it might be a great word problem. Great job til now!
