Y has a twin brother. The two were given the same amount of meals. The first Y was given a 7th of 9 meals subtracted by double the amount of meals he can eat. The second Y was given the amount he can eat. If so, how much can one of the twins eat?

I like the concept of twin brothers, and the creativity of asking how much one twin can eat! Although the word problem is simple and straight to the point, it would be better if you could explain a bit more on the part where you say "given a 7th of 9 meals subtracted by double the amount of meals he can eat". It would be more understandable if you made a situation out of this equation. Overall, it's a good simple word problem.

Is 'Y' the name of a twin brother? :/
    The first Y? :)

When we first read this word problem, we were very confused. First of all, we thought you guys need to fix the word problem in to a situation not just going straight forward. Also we were very confused about the twin Y brothers because we thought the Y was one character. We recommend you to change the character name so others won't get confused. Also I think there should be a little more explanation. But overall great job!
